Seven Circles

Seven Circles (2004) is The Tea Party's seventh album, and the last prior to the band breaking up in 2005. The album continues the style of the band's two previous offerings (The Interzone Mantras in 2001 and Triptych in 1999) by combining world music influences with rock instrumentation and electronic studio techniques. The album is also one of the band's most positive sounding records, forsaking the dystopian imagery and moody lyrics of past albums, and including several ballads that border on love-song territory. This change in focus has led to both praise and criticism from fans. The album is dedicated to the memory of Steve Hoffman, the late manager of The Tea Party, who died of lung cancer in October 2003. Finally got back my tractor
I had to use my shotgun on 'em
Looks like I broke his brain pretty good
He was no match for good ol' Betsy
I said goodbye to the trusty brown steed
Had to get back on that ol' dirt road
Runnin' out of time gotta get down there fast
Horizon in the distance callin' my name
Then I realized I wasn't drunk
Cracked open a brand new beer
Drink more beer and buy more beer
Drink more beer and buy more beer
That's how rednecks do it here
Drink more beer and buy more beer
Walked into a MacDonalds drunk
Lady up front said they had no beer
I said "IS THIS A MAC DONALDS"
I left my cousin in the bathroom
I didn't know she was my cousin
She asked me what my secret was
And how am I the king of rednecks
I just said that I was so drunk
She said "drink more beer and buy more beer"
Drink more beer and buy more beer
Drink more beer and buy more beer
Drink more beer and buy more beer
That's how rednecks do it here
Drink more beer and buy more beer
I didn't care since incest was legal
Took her out to a nearby saloon
Got so drunk that I nearly blacked out
Then there was a fool who then tried to
Take advantage of how less drunk he was
He thought he was gonna break my brain
He hit me right upside the head
Then tried to take the key to my tractor
I got up and I said
YOU BREAK MY BRAIN I BREAK YOUR TRACTOR
Drink more beer and buy more beer
