NATURES GENERATION GAP

is there something on the wind
has there been something unsaid
yesterday was hell
like hell in my head

people dont realise that answers don't just come
answers won't arrive until the asker succumbs
succumbs to a greater thing. a force beyond us and this
something intangible that most folks miss
cos in the end its your own fantasies that come alive
and its a fallacy to believe otherwise


when it hits the fan and you don't know what you're here for
think of all the people you have helped and have been there for
and as the crown fell to the ground and took a trample
you fought the lure of 18 carrots being dangled


fingers flicking paper backs
cant get up but can't relax
busted knuckles spilling blood
spread diseases spreading love

cement is mixing for the holes decay and crumble
so mustn't snigger, mustn't sniff and mustn't grumble
cos now we know within this game there is a purpose
and if we loose the ones we love are there to nurse us

so dont believe what you get told
the world was flat but now revolves
within yourself, what you achieve
reflects the things your vision sees


now don't turn away
you were born with love to radiate
and i know this sounds insane
but you said yourself that you've seen better days

its feels right you can see potential
you're dumb struck and it wont go away
there's possibilities 


its green lights cos you're making friends
but someday it all comes to an end
the mire of change
