I was raised in the church and baptized when I was a young girl, but the church wasn't in me because I was conformed to this world. 
I had a lack of knowledge, I was rebellious, and I had no clue about the importance of putting Jesus first. Because of this my life was exposed to this thing called a generational curse. 
I fornicated then another problem was created. Premarital sex became my stumbling block which led to having a child at the age of fifteen out of wedlock. 
In the midst of all this mess the door to Jesus was available but I still didn't knock. 
One of the most important things that was missing was wisdom, which I had a lack of because I let alcohol into my system. 
A place set apart for yhe Holy Spirit to reside. But becasue of foolishness the marijuana had me confined.
Heart broken by men caused me to cry. 
Low self-esteem at eighteen I wanted to die. 
The crazy thing is I didn't know how to call on Jesus name. I couldn't point the finger at anyone because I was the blame. 
I allowed the devil to come in; we were like best friends. Why? Because I hung out with him faithfully everytime I sinned. 
I was taught morals in the home where I was raised but I wished I had been taught how to give God the praise. 
But thanks to God's grace one day I got down on my knees because in my heart I heard my name called. It was Jesus who was waiting on me for years to surrender my all. 
From that day on my life was rearranged. Every area of my being began to change. 
Doors were open and doors were closed. 
I became dead to my flesh then my spirit man rose. 
The name of Jesus flowed off of my tongue. This proclaimed the battle had been won. 
My child was released from my generational curse because I finally put my Savior first. 
No longer does Satan and I walk side by side. No longer is my life full of discouragement, shame, and pride. No longer can a curse have my spirit vexed. No longer does my flesh give into premarital sex. No longer does drugs and alcohol rule my mind. No longer is hope, faith, peace and love hard to find. 
I've learned that no matter how much we stumble from our lives being affected by absent parents, drugs, alcohol, neglet or abuse. Jesus is available with his arms open wide for us to run in and be saved.
There's no excuse!
