Or today, unless you make it, but easier said than done
When you're trapped inside your head, isolated from everyone

When every single day is feeling like a fight to survive
When all you wanna do is close your eyes and give up on life
But you can't, you're scared to die, you're afraid of the other side
So while you're here, you might as well do whatever that makes you happy
Gotta fight and stand strong through all of the peaks and valleys
It's not easy to stay positive, so often it's the opposite
You try to be an optimist but lack the self confidence
Staring out the window, looking up at the sky
Tears pouring out your eyes, and you don't even know why
It's uncontrollable, the way we think when we're on our own
