I've got round glasses framing my face
And I sit in the classroom, alone in the corner

It's 2009, I'm cracking jokes so you'll like me

But then the bell rings
I go over to the swings
You push me and pull me down
You don't belong here
They pull my hair
You're just a four eyed freak

It's another lunchtime, playing on the swings
My friend starts to harass me, calling me names
I start to get upset, tell her to stop
We push each other, she falls and cries

I instantly apologise
A sad look in her eyes
The teacher comes I try to explain
But then she makes a claim
It's her fault, Mrs Pain
I'm betrayed and broken

I was just a lonely girl
Finding her place in this world
Wanting to laugh with friends
And just sit and pretend
It's all I ever wanted
But you ripped me apart
Broke every edge of my heart
My life was misery
Why did you do this to me?

It's taken some time but I'm finally over it now
I'm a strong woman ready to take over this town

I hope you feel guilty, I hope you know better today

The tears and insults

And the effects are dormant

When I fought to survive
Was told I deserved to die
Cried every night from the pain

Or live a normal life
When I was told for half of it that

I was repulsive

And that I didn't deserve any friends
