I'm constantly wondering why I keep on going
What's the motive to all my goals and motions
Feels like I'm roller coasting through all my emotions
Going through hard times feels like God's doing me bogus
I put a fake smile on just hoping no one notice's
I remember when I was down at my lowest
I was wondering why 
I was going through it all alone with no hands holding
Just know that someone is always by your side
And if I'm not by your side
Just look up in the sky
Not sure if I believe in God but I know there is a reason 
Why the sky lights up in the night
In the night time I'm usually contemplating 
Did I give the day my best try 
Or did I just hide away from all the pain in my mind
I usually try to be honest with myself but I just end up with a lie

I keep on questioning what the f*ck I do
What the f*ck do I have to lose
I'm almost 21 and in no time I'll be 22
I'm missing a couple screws
My brain be feeling like it blew a fuse
I'm constantly feeling the blues
Depression comes and goes just like the flu
I didn't ask to be in this life and it's not my position to choose 
But I just wish I would've known what I would end up going through
Some people couldn't last a millimeter if they were in my shoes 
But I guess the toughest people go through the toughest forms of abuse
Everybody goes through a period of time 
When they feel like they're in a cocoon 
But if you give it time you will soon break through
And see the light that was well overdue
But just know that everything has an ending 
And nothing stays brand new
