The diary of Lil Poseidon. Entry 2
Years of travel had brought us to the Sea of Sirens
Our course through it obscured by a deep and mysterious fog
But as if beckoning us, a sweet sound came from within the thick of the haze
A song

Compelled to reach the source of the sound, I tried to jump overboard
Geronimo Jay stopped me, yelling that I should cover my ears
As I did, the compulsion lessened and my mind hearkened back to tales of old
They all said the same thing; beware the sirens song
Known for leading sailors astray, sirens beckoned them to their doom
I began to notice familiar shapes in the fog
That of ships
Some were intact, floating aimlessly through the sea with no crew to guide them
Others were entirely wrecked, fragments strewn across large beds of rock
And on those rocks were the sirens
Feminine figures with fishtails as the lower half of their body
I shuddered at their sight

That's when I felt a rumble from below
The sirens sang louder, piercing through our covered ears
I felt something come over me
My body feeling numb as my arms dropped to their sides
The rumbling turned to a quake but as I fell an alien force lifted me off my feet
Geronimo also rose along with our surroundings
Old wreckage and entire ships were tens of feet in the air
Even the sirens rose, singing down to us like twisted angels

And that's when I saw it
A colossal figure hundreds of feet in the air
The Skeleton Whale descended, striking the water with meteoric force
Everything sent flying by an explosive shockwave
Before I was struck
I remember seeing a gigantic wave larger than the whale itself
I was seized by terror
And the deafening pitch of the sirens' song
