It's 25 degrees outside They say it's going to snow tonight And I'm fighting off a little cabin fever But I've got a sneaky plan And half a bottle of tequila on hand We'll use the ice off the deck to make margaritas We'll invite the neighbors 'round And while the snow settles on the ground We'll turn the heat up and pretend that it's July With Jimmy Buffet on the Google home We'll put them back and get nice and stoned With enough, they'll be no snowflakes in the sky Turn the radio up and fill my cup So I can forget the weather I wore my flip flops outside And was the coldest I'd been ever Life's no fun without the sun Let's pretend it's not hanging low A generous pour and a couple more Margaritas in the snow It's like this every winter After Christmas and New Year You'd think by now I should have learned... I swear I'll never complain about the heat As long as it warms my frozen feet I need a drink to give me that burn Turn the radio up and fill my cup So I can forget the weather I wore my flip flops outside And was the coldest I'd been ever Life's no fun without the sun Let's pretend it's not hanging low A generous pour and a couple more Margaritas in the snow Now all I know is I've got to go clear the snow off the car Turns out a half bottle of tequila really doesn't go that far
