I'd pick you up indecisive and we'd choose to just drive around
The streets seemed so busy everyones looking to get somewhere
I can picture that day now and it makes me wanna relive it somehow

It brings me back to a time when I thought that I had it all together
Didn't know what was ahead still I always said that the future would be better
Now it's clear I sit here and I reminisce back to these memories
The mundane has been stopping me from seeing in color

I think of that Summer we were working that job no one else cared about
You were at your wit's end and I swooped by to put the fire out
That awkward first date I left you so unsure I was a panicked mess
Now looking in hindsight it wasn't as big of a wreck as life in this moment

Bring me back to the time when I thought  that I had it all together
Didn't know what was ahead still I always said that the future would be better
