The TARDIS (; acronym for "Time And Relative Dimension In Space") is a fictional hybrid of the time machine and spacecraft that appears in the British science fiction television series Doctor Who and its various spin-offs. Its exterior appearance mimics a police box, an obsolete type of telephone kiosk that was once commonly seen on streets in Britain. Paradoxically, its interior is shown as being much larger than its exterior, commonly described as being "bigger on the inside". Due to the significance of Doctor Who in popular British culture, the shape of the police box is now more strongly associated with the TARDIS than its real-world inspiration. A citadel stands tall
A silhouette in the moonlight
Holding secrets aeons old
A darkness to fight
Inside, the Panopticon
A chamber of lords
Content to remain
Settling old scores

Time on my side
History and future
Written line by line
Set adrift and free
On the tides of time
No limits bind me

I can't stand by
Unfeeling and cold
The wonder of life
The elite, fail to see
For freedom I will fight
For the repressed
Never shying away
From my life, from my quest

Frustrated, Stifled by
rules that were not me
Yearning to make a difference
Be all that I could be
Belittled, talked down to
By those above me
I have to leave
Have to think, have to make them see

Time on my side
History and future
Written line by line
Set adrift and free
On the tides of time
No limits bind me

I can't stand by
Unfeeling and cold
The wonder of life
The elite, fail to see
For freedom I will fight
For the repressed
Never shying away
From my life, from my quest

Breaking free was not easy
Held by chains of memories
Rules to be broken, fights to be fought
A call to arms to save history
Forgoing my birthright
Bestowed by my chapter
There are lives to be saved, wrongs to be righted
There is work to be done

Bridge
Prydon
Arcalia
Patrexi
Dromeia
Cerulea
Scendelese
These are the chapters
The founding bloodlines of my society

Time on my side
History and future
Written line by line
Set adrift and free
On the tides of time
No limits bind me

I can't stand by
Unfeeling and cold
The wonder of life
The elite, fail to see
For freedom I will fight
For the repressed
Never shying away
From my life, from my quest
