Being with you is a fresh perspective 
A collection of adventures grand and little where we're featured 
In the middle of a world that's full of others
mostly strangers
heading elsewhere by themselves

Where we go we are
Our rings remind us that we're going round together

Just Us

I can hear you in my mind's eye even though that doesn't make much sense 
But logic applies only to the concrete rather than the abstract 
When we discuss concepts beyond that which we completely understand
Ain't it funny that a reasonable reason might be skeptical of abstracts 
But the synchronicity suggests connections our perceptions just provide

Words roaring like water falling
Uncorking dandelion wine
May we always have new words to share
To tell each other how much we enjoy our time

And though a flow can signify a lot of things depending on the situation 
Or the circumstance or combinations of the two or mixed with others 
That may or may not have formal names
These descriptions are decrypted and transcriptions from a place beyond 
The realm that we have travelled yet these dabble daubs are blobs of gouache 
And oil and acrylic on the canvas of our dreams
