Alpha Boötis

Arcturus is the brightest star in the northern constellation of Boötes. With an apparent visual magnitude of −0.05, it is the fourth-brightest star in the night sky, and the brightest in the northern celestial hemisphere. The name Arcturus originated from ancient Greece; it was then cataloged as α Boötis by Johann Bayer in 1603, which is Latinized to Alpha Boötis. Arcturus forms one corner of the Spring Triangle asterism. Located relatively close at 36.7 light-years from the Sun, Arcturus is a single red giant of spectral type K1.5III—an aging star around 7.1 billion years old that has used up its core hydrogen and evolved off the main sequence. Spirited away by giants
On a thunderous steed of steel
Carried through the realms of titans
By blazing wheels
And the ground begins to roar
Through the great unknown we soar

Our grand odyssey
Began in utmost innocence
Following a trail of crumbs
Towards a feast for queens
Though we didn't know
By entering the cargo hold
We had crossed the threshold
Into the world of man

Stowaway ants
On our way to a foreign land
Taken by the hands of fate
Our destiny awaits
Stowaway ants
Thrown like dice in a game of chance
Taken from our kin and soil
And cast into turmoil

As our legs meet the promised sand
We draw the lines of our destiny
Under the rays of this pale blue star
We have come so far
As Prometheus gave you light
You have lifted us to new heights

As we're growing strong
We see the light in the endless night
Knowing they will call for us
When the time is right
We will sail again
In quest of an uncharted world
For we may be very small
But we can pull our weight

Stowaway ants
On our way to a foreign land
Taken by the hands of fate
Our destiny awaits
Stowaway ants
Thrown like dice in a game of chance
Taken from our kin and soil
And cast into turmoil

Stowaway ants
On our way to a foreign land
Taken by the hands of fate
Our destiny awaits
Stowaway ants
Thrown like dice in a game of chance
Taken from our kin and soil
And cast into turmoil
