So many millions of years have passed since  the earth was born
And everything that's built is lost in the mortal fog
The cycle of our life, a never-ending night
Civilizations'  fallen, power is finite 

No matter how much stronger, the end is always nigh 
Rulers declare themselves to be immortal gods
And everything they've built, it cannot reach the sky
They have been proven wrong and now they've turned to dust

And there is no answer, how long we'll last
