There was an orphan boy, who grew up in the streets
He wasn't built for fighting or getting sweet relief
He was stronger than the others, at least in his heart
And he didn't stand a chance in that orphanage yard

They called him Punching Bag,  because that's what he was
And they wailed into him just because 
He wasn't like the others, but a fire waged within 
And someday he'd light that fire and he would start to win

It doesn't matter where you are or what you do 
Courage is a decision that's up to you
Keep standing up when you get knocked down 
And you too can be the toughest kid in town

One fateful afternoon in an alley by the street
He found an old set of boxing gloves laying at his feet
He put them on, they were his size
So he began to train with a fire in his eyes

He strapped a bed mat to a tree and he began to pound
He did his lunges, crunches, punches, right there on the ground
Then he got much stronger and his fists matched his heart 
So he began to stand up to the other bullies in the yard

The Indestructible Inferno, The Fearless Freeform Fighter
The Raging River, he's Rickey "Punching Bag" Rex
He goes to the orphanage on Sunday to bring his checks
