Jack Frazier

Jack Frazier (1937–2003) was an American man who was taken hostage in 1990 by Saddam Hussein's forces in Baghdad. Frazier was a diabetic and was denied his medication during his time as a hostage, which was close to one month. This affected him seriously, as he ended up losing his eyesight from one of his eyes as a consequence. Frazier sued the republic of Iraq in 1991, and in April 2003, Frazier was given the sum of 1,750,000 dollars as compensation. He was one of 180 people to successfully sue the Republic of Iraq. Frazier moved to Nevada after his ordeal. On June 2 of 2003, he died in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, of complications related to his illness. more »

When I think of all I am
I think of all I can't
My dreams they came and went
My time is up
I'm not good enough
Life is moving slow
I live within my phone
Graduated 4.0
But I got nothing I can show
And even if you make it
You just bought a little time
Cause you're wanting what the savior
Can only give you in this life
So yeah I hope you make it
Take it
Bust it
Break it
In the end you'll follow right in line
If you don't go to God for
All your
Validation
I'm just trying to save you some of your time
Yeah we're never good enough
Yeah we're never good enough
We're never satisfied
Yeah we're never good enough
We're just telling ourselves lies
When I think of what I could've been
I think of how it could've went
My dreams oh what they could've been
But my time is up
I'm not good enough
The world tells me boy let's get this bread
But Jesus tells me give it out instead
America is getting to my head
Is my unsuccess a gift
Is my poverty a blessing
I don't know but I've had both
And was happier with lesser
But I always still want more
I've been trying to change my treasure
Don't be mad at me I know
Because I just hold the message
Jesus told us that it's hard for the rich to get to heaven
And even if you make it
You just bought a little time
Cause you're wanting what the savior
Can only give you in this life
So yeah I hope you make it
Take it
Bust it
Break it
In the end you'll follow right in line
If you don't go to God for
All your
Validation
I'm just trying to save you some of your time
Yeah we're never good enough
Yeah we're never good enough
We're never satisfied
Yeah we're never good enough
We're just telling ourselves lies
When I think of all He is
I think of all He did
Saved me from all my sin
He had to come
He's good enough
Cause even if I make it
I just bought a little time
Cause I'm wanting what the savior
Can only give me in this life
Cause Jesus took my pain and
Anger
My self
Hatred
Drew it out and nailed it to a cross
So even though I'm stressing
Anxious
And Impatient
I'm wandering but never really lost
Now I know I'm good enough
Now I know I'm good enough
I'm perfect in his eyes
Now I know I'm good enough
I'm done with all the lies
