I grew up in farm country

This place sure left it's mark on me

There's the grain elevator
In '82 they shut 'er down
Cross over that ol' train trestle
And you've seen my whole hometown
I used to listen late at night
To the train that ran out by I-55
I'd dream about bein' a drifter
Hoppin' a boxcar and rollin' the dice
