Stormalong

Captain Alfred Bulltop Stormalong was an American folk hero and the subject of numerous nautical-themed tall tales originating in Massachusetts. Stormalong was said to be a sailor and a giant, some 30 feet (9.1 m) tall; he was the master of a huge clipper ship known in various sources as either the Courser or the Tuscarora, a ship purportedly so tall that it had hinged masts to avoid catching on the Moon. more »

Like a little homesick kid
Too afraid to retrace his steps
The further back, the more I'd get
Away from the home I knew before
Time's a stallion
Fast it goes
And I'm still alone
That's how I've grown
A path of circles, I've walked
I never got too old for carousels

Oh call me the lord
Of the misfortunate in this world
But please leave a message at the tone
I'm not home
I don't know the definition of that word

Tore down the wallpapers
To see the core
Beyond decorations
The tricks found in foundation
Disguised as comfort
It's about the foolish people
Not the clever maker
What a house painter
A house wrecker
With drugs, wealth and love
Watch me torch 'em
There's more real beauty
In Chandelle's paintings

I won't reply just yet
To recordings I've heard
Over and over again
Locked myself out my head
Replaying what I've heard
Over and over again
Sore memory, can't treat it
And the great pause button
Doesn't exist

Oh call me the lord
Of the misfortunate in this world
But please leave a message at the tone
I'm not home
I don't know the definition of that word

Approach, approach
See the mirage upclose

Oh call me the lord
Of the misfortunate in this world
But please leave a message at the tone
I'm not home
I don't know the definition of that word
