Samuel Newman

Samuel Newman (May 10, 1602 – July 5, 1663) was a clergyman in colonial Massachusetts whose concordance of the Bible, published first in London in 1643, far surpassed any previous work of its kind. Newman was born in Banbury, Oxfordshire, England, in 1602, son of Richard Newman. He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford in 1620, took orders in the Church of England. He was prosecuted for nonconformity and emigrated to Massachusetts Bay Colony, probably in 1636. After preaching nearly two years at Dorchester, he became pastor of the church at Weymouth, where he remained until 1643. The following year he removed with part of his church to Seconet, in Plymouth Colony. There they founded the town of Rehoboth, which then embraced what is now Seekonk, Massachusett… more »

Thrown in at the deep end
Last week, late in the evening
'Till now I've not been in this state
Caught up in my feelings
Realising it's you I'm needing
So I just hope you reciprocate
Stop me there
Stunned into silence
Making me shy that's
What you do
All of the time
It plays on my mind so just
Let me in
'Cos it feels so painful
Take me away from
All of my insecurities
All that I can hope
Is that eventually you'll know
What I was thinking
All that I'm feeling
Everything I've been meaning to say
Thrown in at the deep end
Last week, late in the evening
'Till now I've not been in this state
Caught up in my feelings
Realising it's you I'm needing
So I just hope you reciprocate
Help me out
'Cos I need reminding
Promise I'm trying but
Just what to do?
Is this good timing?
Stuck on deciding so
Just hold it there
Give me a second
Let me collect myself
And take a breath before I speak
All that I can hope
Is that eventually you'll know
What I was thinking
All that I'm feeling
Everything I've been meaning to say
Thrown in at the deep end
Last week, late in the evening
'Till now I've not been in this state
Caught up in my feelings
Realising it's you I'm needing
So I just hope you reciprocate
All that I can hope
Is that eventually you'll know
What I was thinking
All that I'm feeling
Everything I've been meaning to say
I just hope you reciprocate
I just hope you reciprocate
I just hope you reciprocate
I just hope you reciprocate
Thrown in at the deep end
Last week, late in the evening
'Till now I've not been in this state
Caught up in my feelings
Realising it's you I'm needing
So I just hope you reciprocate
I just hope you reciprocate
