Running into this dream
I know my life was meant to be so different
I used to sit and silently scream, felt like no one was listening 
But I'm in a new place, I've been given a second chance 
To appreciate the things in life that I take for granted
This light is blinding, my vision has ceased
I hear a breath gasp out of reach
I know it's my own 

This war in my mind, I'm running out of time
This restriction is killing me, I'm frustrated I want to scream but only to me
This conflict building in my head, my soul fills with dread
And I don't want to cause stress
But I'm conflicted by all of this
Yet I know I must go on, I must stay strong 

As I walk in silence the rhythm of light footsteps entrance me 
Cobblestone streets reminisce explaining history 
And two bodies comfortably accompany me
Dim yellow light casts a thought in my mind
Am I alone? What constitutes alone
The black sky blankets my worries
And these two bodies reassure me
Silence does not mean I'm alone
