Through trials and tribulation, I've learned to love life,

I'm trying to stop flowing, but something keeping me going 
I'm pass just believing, living in the knowing

Excited and fully hype in the joy of knowing right
Teaching my kids love so they can be a light -
To those that's  in the dark 
Crying out in the night 

Teach 'em  they have wings; teach 'em  to take flight 
Teach 'em to love hard; teach 'em to love right
That we're the image of God 
And the strength of His might

Loving life to death, living in every breath, 
Giving from your heart ;loving beyond self, 
Pouring in to lives. changing realities, 
This is the real Christ that lives in you and me

So, sing the good song, love without condition, 
When you know you're wrong, change your position, 
Choose to be different; it will cause some friction. 
Would you really die for Christ? or is that just religion? 

I'm telling it like it is, cause this is what time it is. 
I'm talking to grown folk and yes I'm talking to kids. 
A good attitude is needed along with discipline
