Raavan is a 2010 Indian action-adventure romantic film co-written, co-produced, and directed by Mani Ratnam. It stars Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vikram (in his Hindi debut) in the lead roles, while Govinda, Nikhil Dwivedi, Ravi Kishan and Priyamani feature in key supporting roles. The film follows the crux of the epic Ramayana, but with its own modified storyline not to be confused with the original Ramayana, Story is nowhere close to the original. In the movie, a police officer is on the chase to find a tribal leader and lawbreaker, who has kidnapped his wife.
