Such a pretty morning, this morning will end
This afternoon, I gotta go, say good-bye to a friend

I wake to the birdies singing
I know it is their way
I know some bells will be ringing
I want to put off the day

I know some car will be leaving
Headed to a long, long stay
We'll be missing and grieving
