What a funny problem to have
I can't get away and my mind it is telling me
That i've got nothing to add
Nothing to my life that will make me satisfied
I've got to go somewhere else
If i want to find happiness
But i don't know where it is
And my mind is telling me
It should be anywhere but here
Maybe if i run far away
I'll go and see the sights of Thailand or Bolivia
And maybe i'll find a new escape
Maybe I won't take my mind with me
Maybe i'll find inner peace
Everything that i'll ever need
A purpose and a reason to be
And realise that everything was at home all along
Maybe this isn’t the solution
And maybe this isn’t the way
Maybe my problems won’t be solved running around the world
But I still keep asking myself
When could I be somewhere else
Maybe if i climbed a mountain
Maybe if i went and lived with some buddhist monks
Maybe if i went for a jog
Or generally tried to get my fitness up
Maybe if i meditate
Give myself a little headspace
And teach myself to savour the day
Then everything else will become insignificant
Maybe the solution is there was no problem all along
Maybe love is all you need but I had my blinders on
When did we decide this had to be so complicated
Well I’m asking better questions but still not getting answers
Maybe this isn’t the solution
And maybe this isn’t the way
Maybe my problems won’t be solved running around the world
But I still keep asking myself
When could I be someone else
