Two thousand light years away
I see a comet coming down from the sky
It’s unusual to see an event coming on by
Nobody ever saw this coming like shouldn’t we be saved
We are stuck on this earth we can’t even fly away
Well that’s true there’s so much life out there than just sitting in your room
Reading what the internet says about you
Critiquing your favorite artists like they’re not humans too
Like they’re machines they can keep pumping you with the music
And I just sat and watch all this happen on my screen wanting to be better
But I was sucked into the feud just like them
I wasn’t any different but I pretended I was
And did nothing to change
And all I could blame was myself
Not my parents
Not my sisters
Not my brothers
Not my lover
All I could blame was myself
And I was the one that can change myself
But I had to prove to everyone that I could do it and use this music
To bring a message to all the people who have felt the same way
Just like me
For the past couple months I kept slaving and not being real
I kept losing my grip on reality and slipped down through the cracks
Felt like an outcast thought my brain was witchcraft
Like I can do anything but only at certain times
From filming to writing lyrics man I felt like I wasted time
Throwing parties and friends out the way to write my music
And driving all alone on the street with this CD so you pick
Isn't it amazing what you can do with music
It's amazing it's the most powerful thing
It's even just as powerful when they don't use it
It's just the wrong type of power
It's just as powerful
This album is for the people who may never had a dad
Or a mother that wasn’t always with them cause she was always mad
Who felt like their life was going all bad
And all they have is these drugs in their pockets to free themselves from all of the bans
That kept circling around them
Cause people are so clueless with the stigma around them
They feel like everything is bad for them
But will drink away their problems and nobody says anything about them
Just like everyone who gets into relationships and it doesn’t end so well
They tell themselves why
Why me
Why am I the one to get hurt
Why am I the one to feel pain
But they can live life freely with no pain and no emotion
Now I’m broken
God has spoken
No solution to my problems
All my causes
All these losses
All the knowledge
Has floated all away
And ain’t a miracle happening today
I’m posting on my story tryna reach out and these people tell me the same thing
Be yourself
Don’t get in a relationship
All those people have dopamine right at their fingertips
Life is a crazy journey and everyone knows it
But to the people who get their life handed to 'em let me tell you a secret
That life ain’t gonna last forever
Sooner or later you’re gonna have to make your own decisions
And not by getting your license or by getting your own car
But by learning how to live and understanding how to get far
Understanding one another and how different people perceive themselves
With life and the world around them and how they deprive themselves
From social interactions to sexual transactions
I’ve given up my life and everything so I can write these tracks and
Understand when I say everything is a true story
So don't compare to me just please use this as my allegory
