Yea
If I write you a love letter would you write back
Fill your desk up with flowers I know you’ll like that
See them memories we shared will never fade to black
And all the times we done spent forever remember that
I was your home away from home I was sanctuary
Showed you how much I loved you not only in February
Had dreams of putting a diamond up on your finger baby
But now I’m hearing your kicking with other niggas baby
That shit hurt baby
Thought you knew I was gonna get right back
Who would’ve ever thought that it would’ve end like that
But I had plans for you, Couple kids a porch cayenne for you
Purchase up a couple acres for you, Even took a stand for you
I’m kinda lost now
All the times I done fronted who would’ve thought it would’ve came with a cost now
Found the women of my dreams and fucked it all up
And this liquor and this perk got me all stuck, damn
I know I did you wrong
Was chasing a lifestyle while stringing you along
Hear the pain from my heart on every one of these songs
Just pray that one day you let me right my wrongs, just saying
Lovers became strangers with some soul ties
Took another shot of henny while my soul cry
Could tell you started falling outta love baby
Just hopping you never give up on us baby
I’m writing you this love letter, baby
To show you I’m a love better, baby
I’m writing you this love letter, baby
To show you I’m a love better
Loyalty was all we had
thought the foundation was solid
But somehow we couldn’t even be honest
But that there was beyond me
Came a long way from barely having nothing
Gave me your heart and I switched up on you
Got damn I’m sorry
My trust issues playing tricks on me
Been plenty nights I couldn’t sleep on it
Been plenty days I had to
Been plenty days I had to pray on it
Feeing like things was fading from me
Promise the last time was the last time
But it’s something bout you that keep me caught up
Just like it was the first time
Hard to love or commit baby
Hard to feel baby but it’s you that I need baby
Got demons in my bed from all the women that I done hurt
Skeletons out the closet fighting to make it work
Ugh but I’m lost in the truth baby
Hoping I was with you baby
I’m writing you this love letter, baby
To show you I’m a love better, baby
I’m writing you this love letter, baby
To show you I’m a love better, baby
