His mother warned against it but he sought adventure, he felt brave
Then it started flooding fast, he clutched on to a passing raft
And by the time the sun went down that day, he was washed away
Morning light struck his eyes, our hero found himself among the waves
He searched the whole horizon but saw no land where he could be saved
Then he saw the sun above, he felt its warmth and felt its love
Wished he could tell his mother he was safe and would be home some day
