Afro-Dite

Afro-dite is a Swedish pop group made up of three pop singers. The group consists of Blossom Tainton-Lindquist, Gladys del Pilar, and Kayo Shekoni. The name is a play on words implying they are beautiful as Greek goddess Aphrodite and black. Blossom has already been in showbusiness for a long time. She sings and dances, played in several musicals and even hosted TV-shows on Swedish television. Gladys, born in Ecuador, came to Sweden when she was only 7 years old. Young and wise with so much time
Third eye open and I think I can see ice in my chest
My love's arctic
I'm broken
But I'm golden

A little birdie told me I got power from the Earth
Star aligned and caused my birth
Strength is the reason I got hurt
Closed my eyes and tables turned
Started dreaming
Rivers streaming
Bridges leading
Voices screaming
Mountain peaking
And I'm reaching, I'm seeking
Feel the frequency I'm syncing
Lately falling feels like sinking
I've been drinking, Im thinking
I want you to hug me like smoke in a hot box
Share your warmth like clean, fresh dried socks
Know me so well, you mock me
Know this is fate not luckily
Love when your chocolate smothers me
Serendipity when you coddle me
Not annoying when you bother me
All enamored when you fondle me
Not so innocent and they on to me
Stringing him along and he's on to me
Call another over and he come to me
Step outside and they all on me

Young and wise with so much time
Third eye open and I think I can see ice in my chest
My love's arctic
I'm broken
But I'm golden

Cliff hanging, see no danger
Living fast, I ain't a swinger
Looking good, I wanna bang her
We don't yell, f*ck out the anger
And he kinky, like me chained up
Like em focused, like em paid up
No mixed signals, keep it straight up
To be honest, I'm still dating
All these options got em racing
That's your dog
He out here straying
Like he homeless, I'm just saying
What he do, ain't what he saying
Set your worth, Make sure he's paying
Let you fly, don't got you caged up

I'm building inertia, my mental disturbing
I'm burning the kernels, and clocking the burdens
Tick tock, yeah I'm learning
Accept what's uncertain
I open the curtain, free fly like the birdie
Tomboy and I'm girly, hair curly, and surely
We do not compare, I took the crown early
I do this shit thoroughly
Skrt fast like the derby
No effort, still purty
Still look at you dirty

Young and wise with so much time
Third eye open and I think I can see ice in my chest
My love's arctic
I'm broken
But I'm golden

Young and wise with so much time
Third eye open and I think I can see ice in my chest
My love's arctic
I'm broken
But I'm golden
