Hannah Adams (October 2, 1755 – December 15, 1831) was an American author of books on comparative religion and early United States history. She was born in Medfield, Massachusetts and died in Brookline. Adams was the first woman in the U.S. who worked professionally as a writer. She was the second of five children born to Thomas Adams and Elizabeth Clark. Born in "humble obscurity" in a remote country town, in part self-educated, she lived at a time when a learned woman in New England was a rarity. It's not just that I miss your kisses
I miss being with you
Why don't you call me
And talk about life
Guess you have other people giving all your attention to

I don't know what you're doing
I'm crying here by myself
I don't know why you're thinking
I would be better off with somebody else

Come here and hug me
I want to smell like you
Why don't you fight for me harder
Please stop living life at the bottom
Just because I'm not there
Doesn't mean you can't see me in your mind
Together we're a rainbow
But you must be colorblind

Why don't you see us through my eyes
Our love is like in the movies
But our love is better than anything I've ever seen
Because our love is real
Every little thing you do I need
You help me every day
I want you to make me laugh again
And wipe my tears away

So come here and hug me
I want to smell like you
Why don't you fight for me harder
Please stop living life at the bottom
Just because I'm not there
Doesn't mean you can't see me in your mind
Together we're a rainbow
But you must be colorblind

When I look at you there is good I see
I know loving you was meant to be
But no matter what I did for you, you still wanted more
I'll never forget you

So come here and hug me
So I can smell like you
Keep on fighting, harder
Please stop living life at the bottom
Just because I'm not there
Doesn't mean you can't see me in your mind
Together we're a rainbow
But you must be colorblind
