The Lemonheads are an American alternative rock band formed in 1986. The band was founded by Evan Dando, who served as the lead vocalist and guitarist. They gained popularity during the 1990s with their melodic, guitar-driven sound and catchy hooks. The Lemonheads were known for their cover of the song "Mrs. Robinson" which became a hit. Over the years, the band experienced various lineup changes, but Dando remained the constant member. The Lemonheads released several successful albums before taking a hiatus in the late 1990s.
