I know you know I’m here
To pick up the pieces and to dry your tears
Is that all I am to you
Does the love in my heart ever shine through
I don’t wanna live this way
I’m fed up of playing someone else's games
Chasing after the dreams that have lead me astray
So call me and ask me why I left you alone
In the middle of the night
When the last sun goes down
And you’re looking for me but I’m not around
Maybe then you’ll feel the pain when someone lets you down
Maybe then you’ll feel the pain when someone lets you down
Maybe then you’ll feel the pain when someone lets you down
I need a little bit of closure
Not afraid to say I’m not a soldier
Living in this world inside my mind
Always thought that I didn’t deserve you
Now it’s seems the tables are turning
But you don’t seem to see my breaking heart
All you ever seem to do is put me in the dark
Well this is my life too and I need a brand new start
But my heart belongs to you
Whether you love me or not
I know you know I’m here
To pick up the pieces and to dry your tears
Is that all I am to you
Does the love in my heart ever shine through
I don’t wanna live this way
I’m fed up of playing someone else's games
This is life is mine and time is slipping away
So call me and ask me why I left you alone
In the middle of the night
When the last sun goes down
And you’re looking for me but I’m not around
Maybe then you’ll feel the pain when someone lets you down
Maybe then you’ll feel the pain when someone lets you down
Maybe then you’ll feel the pain when someone lets you down
