I dream in burgundy hues they keep me comfy
Call up my lady whenever I want her company
Relax, I want peace, while keeping a piece of mind
But it never came easy, not lazy, what I find
Is a child of the eighties, mother betrayed me and she left
Like I fell outta womb, and soon she crept
So I'm practiced in adapting adopted silhouettes
Social scenes, I kept abandonment and neglect
Try your best, I heard love, never knew what it meant
I could see, touch, and taste it and not recognize the scent
Like holding on to nostalgia of a land before time
I grab your hand and felt your love before mine
Blood flushed, pink skin, let it sink in, I'm reachin for atonement
Eyes wide open, I slumber in the moment
Couldn't wake me up, laying next to you in the morning
I died, went to heaven, brain releasin seratonin

Pardon my God, I'm human showing emotion
Oh God, I'm not human, spittin oceans like Moses
Parting the Red Sea, must be ovulatin so deadly
Mother Nature gave us life, and we killin her gently
And killing ourselves, fulfilled with wealth, we need to recognize a balance
Sick of dope flows and schemes but your content is average
Searchin for where the sun sleeps
I peak and then I valley
So I rally from the Bean to the Sacramento valley
Bout to hit the Gulf Coast, share a toast with the family
Speak it clearly so the people can understand me
I speak in colors but I don't see the world that way
I'd rather trade words than see lives exchanged
Heart pumpin with raised fists, brown, beautiful, dangerous
Thanks to those who came and went
I still ain't been the same since
Peace to the wandering and aimless
Looking for the roses in the pavement

Wander down this lonely road, people looking at me crazy
Alone and depressed is how I been feeling lately
But maybe I wouldn't have to feel so hardpressed, to deal with stress and all of these hardships
If I was more honest with my self and all of these problems
I would be much farther along from where I started
When I rap, I be feeling cathartic
That's the art, reflection and being nostalgic
I combine the right rhymes when I write lines
At times, it feels like this ink is my life line
I want peace, love and unity for everyone like me
But it's hard to teach the streets, how to live with empathy
This project has emptied me, as well it has set me free
I hope you find yours eventually
I hope you all find balance, peace and serenity
And that you play this song to remember me
So come on and set me free
Come on and set me free
Come on and set me free
Come on and set me free
Come on and set me free
Come on and set me free
Come on and set me free
Set me free, free, free
