As the children sleep on this magical night
Waiting for wonders 
Such excitement and Delight
As santa and his reindeer get ready to take flight
Jake frost in the air preparing for the day
Soaring through the night sky making snow for Santa's slay
All the elf's are all working hard so no one is missed
The good the bad, but not all are on Santas list

See the world come together on this magical day
Forgetting their cares and their worries tonight

As the children come running down from up stairs 
Dashing to the tree thinking what presents are theirs
A big box a little box and one in between
The kids are excited they came from granny Jean 
Cardboard and wrappers slowly fill up the room 
Happiness and laughter no sadness nor gloom
Then Charlie remembers that 1 boy from school 
So he picks up a present thinks I know what to do
Christmas is for giving wether rich or poor 
So he walks to that boys house and knocks on the door
As the young child answers with sadness in his eyes 
Charlie gives him a gift and watches with surprise 
Merry Christmas he says with joy on his face
No one should be sad on this wonderful day
