Cuz this anxiety pursuant yea
Part of me say screw it yea
You don't ever lose depression you learn to grow through it

Why Jayare? I just wanna know...
Yo turn me up in the headphones a lil bit...

One day I'll never have to be here afraid
For now I'm gonna hold on
For now I'm gonna hold on
Cuz I know that happiness can't be too far cuz pain is always near
For now I'm gonna hold on
For now I'm gonna hold on

Ain't been myself a long time, I can't think straight
Receive a text and leave it read, my phone on menstruate
But hey
At least they got the message
And if not well that's the message
So if you need to read my, fucking emotions
All my songs'll show em better than I ever showed it
You don't gotta f*ck with them, to me my shit the coldest
One thing that they show is I'm my highest at my lowest
Man the symbolism
It's fucking simple
Like why I always pray to god and then ignore the symbols
I asked her to point out my competition then I'll end 'em
She said my only rival is the guy inside my temple
It's like I can't even find the time
To show my face in person
Technology it curses
I witnessed this shit firsthand
Kill chivalry and bid my innocence
I could not, explain it even if I tried
It's like sometimes I'm being followed
By all the shit up on my shoulder wonder if my father
Had ever felt the pressures that I feel inside my brain
And pondered all thoughts I think that drive me so insane

Cuz this anxiety pursuant yea
Part of me say screw it yea
You don't ever lose depression you learn to grow through it yea
Everybody got they problems what makes yours more fluent yea
Standing round gon keep you stagnant, gotta keep it moving here
Even if you hit some potholes, minor setback for revival
Real friends they gon come in handy, even Pippen needed Michael
Make a way to break the cycle
Ain't no way to break the cycle
Less you make the way to break the cycle (ay)
Yea

Cuz I know that one day I'll never have to be here afraid
For now I'm gonna hold on
For now I'm gonna hold on
Cuz I know that happiness can't be too far cuz pain is always near
For now I'm gonna hold on
For now I'm gonna hold on
