Every Other Weekend

"Every Other Weekend" is a duet by American country music artists Reba McEntire and Kenny Chesney, recorded on the former's 2007 album Reba: Duets. The song, written by Skip Ewing and Connie Harrington, is the third and final single from the album. When shipped to radio, Chesney's vocals were replaced with Ewing's, although for most of its chart run the song was not credited to either duet partner. It peaked at number 15 on the Billboard country singles charts in 2008, and number 4 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100. more »

Lord I'm coming
Undone at the seams
Lord I'm coming
Undone at the seams

What's the point of living if
Everything you do
Will either be forgotten
Or dissolve in a cocoon
What's the point of life if
I can't find no happiness
What's the point of trying if
Everything is ravenous
A catalyst is what I'm searching for
But confinmental paralysis
Is what'll happen if confined
It's the words I can't find
It happens time after time
I wish this world would rewind
And make some sense of my life

It's the same old
Boring life that I'm in
It's the same old
Boring life that I live

Lord I'm coming
Undone at the seams
Lord I'm coming
Undone at the seams

It Feels like I'm just half of me
It's feels like I'm just half-cocked
I feel like I'm a wannabe
I'm so far gone
I can not stop
I'm gone
I'm not coming back
Like the memory of an amnesiac
Like the reverie of a paranoiac
I'm in jeopardy of a surprise attack
From you
From me
From people that I love
It's cool
Just leave
It feels like I'm void of
Any kind of love and affair
Any kind of a coven of care
Look at me with a disgusted glare
F*ck it all
See if I care

It's the same old
Boring life that I'm in
It's the same old
Boring life that I live

Lord I'm coming
Undone at the seams
Lord I'm coming
Undone at the seams

Is it my fault that
I'm not okay
Am I the only one that's
Not made out of clay
I've got problems
Inside and out
I'm not a sculpture
I'm filled with doubt

Oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh

Lord I'm coming
Undone at the seams
Lord I'm coming
Undone at the seams
Lord I'm coming
Undone at the seams
Lord I'm coming
Undone at the seams
