Body Count is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1990. The group is fronted by Ice-T, who first established himself as a rapper but co-founded the group with lead guitarist Ernie C out of their interest in heavy metal music. Ice-T took on the role of vocalist and writing the lyrics for most of Body Count's songs, while Ernie C has been responsible for writing the group's music. Body Count's self-titled debut album was released on Sire Records in 1992, and garnered much attention due to a controversy around the song "Cop Killer". Their label, Sire Records, and their parent company, Warner Bros. Records, defended the song; however Ice-T chose to remove it from the album because he felt that the controversy had eclipsed the music itself. The g… more »

Bust a nut in the morning, then I'm bak on my grizzy
Singing to these c notes
You would thought my name was drizzy
Spending cash fast, my pockets getting dizzy
Nickname my wallet blow, yea thats my little lindsey
Gone off 2 fours
Dom Mezzetti must be with me
Stick to thee code
Or yo chest might come up empty
I know i know
I know
Have mercy on my soul
Keeping all these women hidden, kept me from finding gold
Im numb to the pressure
NoFeelings make for greater effort
Levels to this shit
Somebody point out the lever
Its funny when a nigga on his way up
These women go down, for a little buried treasure
I know i know
I know
Have mercy on my soul
Rolling stone back on the road
M.O. give and go
I know, I know
Im out here like the street lights

Thug life
The Pac of niggas popping
So nigga sleep tight
These niggas don't want beef
I'm screaming Bon' A petit
My appetite is elite
I been dining with beasts
Im just watching her physique
Don't like my women petite
Do it obese
Before I hear em scream rest in peace
Lord willing' lord willin'
I'm authentic, check the stitchin'
Lord willing' lord willin'
I'm authentic, check the stitchin'
The Land of forgotten bastards
Tell me who is controlling the masses
Got us living life backwards
Anarchy in his absence
Know your worth, know your worth
How ironic, when you turn to ash
You ain't worth dirt
Ears of God, mouth of a Prophet
What I say, is worth more than a profit
All for the love of the profit, she after that ring like she a hobbit
Tell me what do we have in common
Tired of chasing these madonnas
Yeayeayea
I could never be ya honor, Im just being honest
A long way from modest, cuz the flow still polished
Cold blooded artist, cuz my heart is in the Arctic
Painting graphic pictures of the dearly departed
What would you do if your love went to Hell
Feel regret, or would you chase her for salvation
We not just philosophers, speaking what we believe
But what if we were the seed
From the tree of Adam and Eve
