All because I met a couple people, got off garage band

Same dream, a lot closer, though, I happen to be

Truly though, I would just like to give you my opinion
The people God has blessed me with is beyond comprehension
Things are happening that I could never ask for
And it's blowing my mind, that just goes to show my religion
Is truly incredible, God is looking down on me
And I'm surprised because I don't deserve like half these things
But I know he's got a plan for everybody
So I'll keep on making music, cause I feel like that's his plan for me
I'm not social, so there's no way I could make these friends
Or meet the people that I've meet without a helping hand
It's like the pieces of this puzzle falling into place without my directing it
I don't think you really understand
A year ago, I didn't know not one of these people
I met a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a bunch of people
And now I no longer feel like the world's ignoring me
And every single one of them has God as their priority
This time last year I made my first mixtape
This time last year, I was dreading 10th grade 
Little did I know, that'd be the worst school year of my life 
But my best year outside of school cause Jeff Sate
My brother met some college friends that soon would change my life
And I've learned to get a strong relationship with Christ
I guess God knew exactly how to make it right 
Now I got a whole team, plus family by my side
This time last year I couldn't picture all of this
This time last year I promised I would never quit
Evidently it's paying off
So I'll keep that promise to myself and stay focused on what I represent
