Had enough logic
Had enough fear
No more midnight calls
I get one postcard card a year

Her place is empty

Now she's in the arms of some latin man
Earning four dollars a day binding books by hand
Sold off her car, sold off her house
Lives with forty tango shoes and a see-through blouse

She couldn't wait for spring  
Burnt all her books
Music went next
That's when we got concerned

She never answers email 
She's never at home
