She swallowed a seed
Couldn't endure the bitter taste long enough to see it sprout
She spate it out 
Long before it's taste could settle on her tongue
She sold her pride 
For the Price of nothing-ness
She is dying out of thirst in a pool of water
She is now a victim of her own demise
One of the greatest regrets she will ever have
A seed who never had a chance to breathe 

The choice she made on that one day 
Has caused her pain and heartache
If only she could rewind the scope of time
If only she could bring back those moments
But unfortunately in life there are some things you just can never change
You only get to live certain moments once 
She had her moment and she wasted it
I just hope she can forgive herself and live with her regrets
She is her own Victim
She listened to them
She hid their advice
She joined their course
She fell for their words like she fell for his charm on that fateful evening
They urged her on
Uproot the seed growing in your farm 
These weed will only destroy your crops
They told her
But of whose seed it was they cared not
Of whose burden it will be they know not
Now they carry theirs like trophies
And she sees herself tagging along in their shadows 
As though they were live her dream

But she rejected her miracle
And she lost her gift
She took off her pregnant dress
She aborted her child
At the time she feared their scorn and stigmatization
All she wanted was to fit in
Now they walk with their heads raised high and their babies by their side
And her, she is but the actual manifestation of bareness
No one to call her mother
No one to call her child
But whether fornication or promiscuity
Whether Ignorance or careless-ness
There  is no such thing as mistake
It was a gift 
It was a miracle
It was motherhood
It was womanhood
But She gave it up
Now she's a victim of her own demise
And I just hope she can live with it
