Spoken:
All my life ya been doing me wrong
Now, I don't know how to get along

But don't ya tell me nothin'
But don't ya tell me nothin'
A-don't ya tell me nothin'
I can see
A-rock an rollin' be good for me

Now don't ya tell me nothin'
A-don't ya tell me nothin'

(harmonica & instrumental)
You say it's a dog
When ya know it's a cat
You say it's a mouse
When you know it's a rat
You say it's fish
When you know it's a bird
Tell me nothin'
'Bout-a what you heard

Don't ya tell me nothin'
But don't ya tell me nothin'
A-don't ya tell me nothin'
I can see
A-rockin' rollin' is good for me

Now don't you tell me nothin'
A-don't ya tell me nothin'

(harmonica, guitar & instrumental)
You say it's right
And you know it's wrong
You say it's short
And you know it's long

You say it's low
When you know it's high
Tell me the truth
An don't tell no lie

A-tell me nothin'
A-don't you tell-a me nothin'
Don't ya tell me nothin'
I can see
A-rockin' an rollin' is good for me

A-don't you tell me nothin'
A-don't you tell me nothin'

(harmonica & instrumental)
'Ha!'
You say it's black
Well you know it's white
You say it's day
When you know it's night
You'll say it's good
Well you know, it's mean
It the finest music that I ever seen

Don't you tell me nothin'
Don't you tell me nothin'
But don't tell me nothin'
I can see
A-rock an' rollin' is good for me

Don't you tell me nothin'
A-don't you tell me nothin'

(harmonica & instrumental)
You say it's diamonds
And you know it's glass
You say it's good
When you know it's bad
You say it's meat
When you know it's bread
You tell me it's gold
And it's a hunk a-lead

So, don't ya tell-a me nothin'
Now, don't ya tell me nothin'
A-don't ya tell me nothin'
I can see
A-rockin' an rollin' is good for me

Now rock, an tell me nothin'
Rock, an tell me nothin'

(harmonica & instrumental to end)
Oooh!
Whoa-oh!
'No more'
'You don't need me, no more.
