Darling, it's that time of year
When everybody's full of love
So what the hell we thinking of?
Oh darling (darling), don't let it disappear
We've gotta give this one more try (give it one more chance)
My one last wish runs out tonight

And I can't wait, I can't wait, can't wait any longer
This aching heart is getting stronger
I know the way to make it all better
Back at the place we got together

Say that you'll meet me there
You're my wish, you're my Christmas prayer
Snowflakes falling in my hair, and I ain't going anywhere
Say that you'll meet me there
You're my wish, you're my Christmas prayer
Santa's coming, I don't care
All I wanna know is will you be there? (Oh, oh, oh)
Will you be?
Say that you'll meet me there
La la la la la

I guess we've done a lot of drifting apart
And I know there's a weight on your heart
Gonna take all my mistletoe (mistletoe, mistletoe)
And I'm ain't gon' let you go, no, no
I'm taking every step as fast as I can
To get me back to you
Hoping you feel the same
Praying I'm not too late (yeah, yeah)

I can't wait, I can't wait, can't wait any longer
This aching heart is getting stronger
I know the way to make it all better
Back at the place where we got together

Say that you'll meet me there
You're my wish, you're my Christmas prayer
Snowflakes falling in my hair, and I ain't going anywhere
Say that you'll meet me there
You're my wish, you're my Christmas prayer
Santa's coming, I don't care
All I wanna know is will you be there?
Why can't every Christmas feel the same? (Feel the same)
When I write my list, I write your name (write my name, write my name)
Now I'm only wishing that you'll stay (oh whoa)
Say that you'll meet me there
You're my wish, you're my Christmas prayer
Snowflakes falling in my hair
And I ain't going anywhere
