A full moon shines o'er and old highway road 
I walk along the side where the wildflowers grow 
This two lane has taken me where I'd never been before 
A place lost somewhere between here and Mexico

Oh and I long to find where the memories began 
Where the sun shone high over this promised land 
Been six years but I swore someday I'd return 
I guess I forgot of what once I was sure
