(One bad day, a long lonely night, a big ol' bucket of tears
And everything's all right)

My clock went off thirty minutes late
And I ran to catch the bus that wouldn't wait
When that old black cat was walkin' in front of me
I should have known you'd pick today to decide to leave

It's been one bad day
Gonna be a long lonely night
I'll cry a big ol' bucket of tears
And I reserve the right
To be a little blue, but I'm gonna be okay
I'll get over you
Just let me have, baby 'cause I wanna have one bad day

No doubt you'll find yourself somebody new
And if I know you, probably do
But when she leaves you'll be callin' me
And your gonna hear that telephone ring, ring, ring

That'll be one bad day
You're gonna have a long lonely night
You'll cry a big o' bucket of tears
And boy it serves you right
'Cause you made me blue, but I'll be okay
I'll get over you
Just let me have, baby 'cause I wanna have one bad day

Now I'm not one for cryin' and complainin'
Ooh, but don't you think I'm entitled to

One bad day, a long lonely night
A big ol' bucket of tears and then I'll be all right
Yeah, I'll make it through, I'm gonna be okay
I'll get over you, 'cause I wanna have one bad day
One bad day, a long lonely night, yeah I'm gonna be all right

I'm gonna be okay just a little bit blue
I'm gonna have, I'm gonna have one bad day
Yeah, ah, I'm gonna be O
I'm gonna be all right, cry me a bucket of tears
