Hello my old friend
I know it's been a while
It's good to see your face
It's good to see you smile
Last time I heard
That times were pretty hard for you

And He has been around

But He knew who I am

And He took away
All my pain and hurt
And He loved me
And showed me I have worth
You see even though I betrayed Him
And sinned against Him
Most of my days
He still loved me
And He forgave me anyway
And even in those days
I tried to run from Him
And be on my own
Now He calls me
He calls me one of His own
You see I was a slave to it all
Back when He found me
Destined to die
But He set me free
You see He's a healer
A councilor
The Prince of Peace
The Son of Man
He's the Chosen Lamb of God
And The Great I Am
He's The Lion of Judah
And The Creator of All Things
He puts the breath in my lungs
And my reason to sing
And ever since He came into my life
I know that I will never be the same
How could I not continue
To just praise His name
And His name is Jesus Christ
And I will never ever be alone
The things that I do are not by my will
But by His alone
You see He's not just my Savior
But He is my best friend
He was and Is and He always will be
Again
I'm sorry I can't contain my excitement but
He gets all of my love
How could I not be excited
With all He does
He's amazing and awesome
And it's all true
The best part is
He wants to know you too
