How you turned those ghosts on me
They were blown by the breeze
A house of cards
That you could never leave
And it wasn't for free
Perfection never knew how softly
You could light a fire to
The tinders
That were laid before
You pulled on a plastic storm and
Sewed spores that grew up
To rot away
At your decrepit core
And the toxins
And the rot
And all of those things you've done
What a mess
That you made
Of the air that was in my lungs
Now I can see
How you spread your spores on me
So that I couldn't leave
Setting ablaze
That pressed wood plastic tree
I don't want your disease
It took me so long to realize
That you used me
Yeah you used me
That painful look in your eyes
It used to abuse me
Now you lose me
I won't be lead
In this play you wrote for me
I don't care for your pleads
Those azure tears
While you pretend to bleed
Fell apart at the seams
You laid me down
The sod under your greed
But I'm pulling the weeds
Another pawn
In your pathetic schemes
