On this journey still I roam

Yeah, dismissing the sentiment
Forgiving my submissive temperament
Stay in my element
Keeping it relevant
Rigorous regiment won't make you fucking intelligent
It's your development
How you were brought up and what made made you so confined and vigilant
That's the equivalent
Of mental imprisonment
Learn how to use your own discipline

Never go back to that life I refuse
Look and the news
The world is in pieces so don't be confused
The rich getting richer the rest get abused
Can't hide any longer I did the right thing
Step out of the dark and right into the ring
The government's mask says there's nothing behind

Show people what matters is in the inside
But people decide they can't live coincide
Cause opinions are where your beliefs like to hide
Some people just want to exist
But say the wrong thing and your words start to twist
Let it blow over stop clenching your fists
There's so much to hate but please try to resist
They just need to know what they said was wrong 
No need to ruin their life for a song
Maybe someday they'll get where you're coming from
But not if you're forcing your views to belong
Let's start a clean slate and say f*ck all the hate
And forget what used to make America great
Cause it's a new world and we're running this shit
