Imagining we were heroes in a far-off land,
Laughing and cheering with controllers in hand.

Those days of innocence, oh how they fly so fast,
In our world of make-believe, we had a blast.
Nostalgic memories bring a smile to my face,
Oh, the joy of childhood, in that special place.

Mimicking one-liners, thinking we were so cool,
Acting out fight scenes, breaking every rule.
Bonding over pixels and fake explosions,
Forever friends in our childhood devotions.

Now grown up, we look back with a tear in our eye,
Those carefree days, oh how time does fly.
But in our hearts, those memories will forever last,
Of playing Duke Nukem and action movies from the past.

So here's to the laughter, the joy, and the fun,
In our hearts, those memories are second to none.
