Boarded a train To get to a different space
But I've stopped at this place
10,000 and 20 days
Many souls I see
Watching from my window seat
Jesus paid the fee
Yet they walk towards the penalty

Then waves of apathy like
Cables entangle me

The passion I did not feed
Caused systemic neuropathy
Fogs not lifting
Can't see what I'm missing

On this ride the rails confine
Been searching for a control switch
That would help me skip through this
Cause oh this sadness is ruthless

Bite my tongue to see if I am dreaming
Feeling numb and cold from all the bleeding
Manipulated by the lack of meaning
Focused on the rhymes and not the Reason
But praising the Lord
Who willed it this way
So that I'd be driven to seeking His face

Growning inwardly waiting eagerly
My heart doesn't function the way it's meant to be

Since they chose pride
As I have in my life
Suited as ice
To stand before
A holy fire
But hallelujah

God's grace made a way for union
The stench of our pain
Meant to drive us away
And into the fresh air of Christ's grace

He relates and validates with empathy
Separated from the Father for us
He knows how it is to feel empty

Bite my tongue to see if I am dreaming
Feeling numb and cold from all the bleeding
But then my Savior swarms His love to start revealing
As I'm praising the Lord
I'll keep praising the Lord
