Novelty keep me vertical

Everything is plastic now
And I am just an effigy
Born out of necessity
A poet turned stoic then zen
Then back to poet again
Learned peace turned leafs
Everyone is on a journey
That's heroic hope speaks

Novelty keep me vertical
Habits what keep me terminal
Life's a lot of things
But one of them isn't merciful
If Mother Earth spoke
She'd say that it's nothing personal
We flammable we burn
This Entropy's irreversible
I cannot confirm
That any of this is purposeful
I know that concern
Like what if this isn't workable
I know that in turn
You learning you not invincible
But fragile as a Sandcastle
Choosing blue over that red capsule
Whistling a ditty
To your dirt nap
Can't wait to revert back
I know you been hurt bad
Probably even thinking
You deserve sadness
Tragic how a caged bird
Sings about wings turned to ashes
And so it goes
We live what we know
Reap what we sow
I suppose we wear clothes because

Clowns are in the quarry
Kicking rocks like
Life's a funny story
If you let it be

With futures of higher stature
Even my old lady think

Than a cog machine, pristine, cookie cutter prick
Headstone filled with epaulets
