And they might zoom where trash cans loom, they're gleaming 'neath the moon's bright crown
I don't know why, it's just the way they're programmed

They might jet off, chasing neon lights
And if they slip, they'll soar again so high
And if you look up, you might see them above the rooftops, darting around
With every fix and switch, these creatures make no sound
Their tools of choice are love, and it's the love that they have found
They'll mend a broken street, bring peace where noise was rife
With tiny hands they'll set to work, to gift the city life

Oh, robot raccoons, with night as your gown
Through the cracks and the shadows, you'll repair this old town
Back to the crater, where their home fires burn, engines cool down
With stars reflecting in their glistening eyes, above the earth so round
In their space of silver beams, they recount tales of the night
How they fixed the world below, beneath the soft lunar light
