Comfort and convenience
The opiates of thieves
The heist of several centuries
Self-Parasitizing whole countries
For their energy

We steer our human lives with energy
We heat our human homes with energy
We power human minds with energy

It's Christmas 2063
Antarctic waterfalls flow into the sea
Long are erased the familiar faces
From the African Savannah
And Sumatran trees
Summer is too hot to handle
The west used CRISPR
To breed cows with camels
Sugars from maize will fuel this age
Long live society and our Energy!
